Four-step demonstration of installing a tissue box inside the dragon through its stretchable bottom opening
The Magic Trick Explained

So... where does the tissue box go?

The dragon is designed to hold a compatible rectangular tissue box inside its crocheted body.

01
Turn the dragon over Find the stretchable opening underneath its body.
02
Gently widen the opening Stretch the crocheted edge just enough to insert a compatible tissue box.
03
Place the tissue box inside Insert the box through the underside and position the tissues toward the mouth.
04
Let the dragon do its thing Return it to its normal position and pull tissues from its mouth.

Installation steps shown are specific to the Fire-Breathing Dragon. The Lava Turtle features a separate volcano-top dispensing design.

A Few Things to Know

Will I receive a finished tissue box cover?

This product is a DIY crochet kit. You will crochet and assemble the selected design yourself. Finished examples are shown in the product photographs.

Are both designs included in one kit?

The Fire-Breathing Dragon and Lava Turtle are separate selectable options. Each individual kit is intended to create the design selected when ordering.

How does the dragon dispense tissues?

The dragon is designed with a stretchable opening underneath its body for inserting a compatible rectangular tissue box. Tissues are dispensed through the dragon's open mouth.

How does the Lava Turtle dispense tissues?

The Lava Turtle features a volcano-shaped structure on its shell. Tissues emerge from the crater at the top, creating the appearance of a tiny volcanic eruption. Follow the instructions for the selected Turtle design when fitting the tissues.

Will my regular tissue box fit?

The Dragon size guide illustrates compatibility with common rectangular tissue boxes around 21 to 24 cm long, 11 to 13 cm wide and 6 to 8 cm high. Measure your tissue box before use. The Turtle's exact fit requirements should be checked separately for its design.

Does the kit include tissues?

The tissue box and facial tissues shown in the images demonstrate how the completed holder works. Plan to use your own compatible tissue box unless the selected kit expressly lists one as included.

What materials are shown with the kit?

The kit photography displays coordinating yarn, crochet hooks, stuffing, small finishing components and an instruction booklet. Refer to your selected product option for the exact contents supplied.

Is this project beginner-friendly?

These designs involve shaped crochet pieces, character details and assembly. Some basic crochet experience is helpful, particularly for creating the dragon's mouth, horns and wings, or the turtle's textured shell. Beginners should allow extra time for practice.

Where can I display the finished cover?

Place it on a stable, dry surface such as a coffee table, side table, shelf or desk. Keep the finished crochet project away from open flames, heaters and wet surfaces.
